A few days ago I told you about the Felt beads I made while enjoying glorious sunshine in the garden. (As I type this there is no sign of that sunshine any more and I am wearing my woolly slippers again!) Anyway… that necklace is ready now and I love it. I hope you will too! 🙂
It was going to be called Summer Carnival necklace because allegedly it is summer now. However as I am from India I associate Spring with flowers and colour and fun (Holi festival) and its my favourite season because of the comfortable warm weather so Spring Carnival Necklace it is!
The idea came from a Facebook Design of the week competition by Cookson Gold called Carnival Colours. I needed cheering up and this necklace has certainly done that 🙂
This one is MINE! Two reasons, I like it a lot and also because its a completely new design so I want to wear it a few time to make sure it will wear well.Â
I do intend to offer this carnival necklace (and perhaps matching bracelets and earrings too) for sale in my online shop in several colour schemes soon but this will be an “on order” item as it takes approximately 4-5 hours to make from first making the beads to individually wrapping each bead in wire and then connecting it together.
I have requested Eve Marshall to put aside some fluff for me and when I next see her I will select a few colour schemes. I will then photograph the fluff and list in my shop with one or two ready made necklaces.Â
