I have used heavier gauge pure copper wire for all the wire work on this piece. The emerald tumble stones are quite big as well. This is going to be a chunky necklace. I am really looking forward to putting it in liver of sulphur and giving it a nice deep patina. UPDATE: The necklace has turned out as lovely as I had hoped it would be and is now listed in my online shop. Go on! Treat yourself or some special! :-)..
Happiness is... turning a plain sheet of copper into something you can wear! :-) I really do love what I do! It is so satisfying to start with a bit of metal and see it become a beautiful piece of art. Could be a piece of jewellery, a sculpture, something functional or just a decorative design that looks nice. ..
