Copper Brooch made using texturing techniques.
I have two trays on my workbench, one for scraps & end pieces and one for finished, unused textured bits and pieces. Some days I just play with the bits and ideas evolve. This brooch is made from small end pieces of copper left over after cutting sheet copper for sculptures and trays and a copper washer. Nothing is ever wasted in my studio and I firmly believe that every component has a use, sometimes the wait for the right idea can be a while :-) I brazed the two pieces together it makes a lovely little brooch or hat accessory.
Size: 4.7 cm wide x 2.4 cm long.
