20 January: 4 Hearts and flowers necklaces ready.
I will try and take photos tomorrow and get them into my online and Etsy shops.

That’s a lot of Copper Hearts!

January February have been slightly strange months for me. A bout of flu, Ankylosing Spondylitis reminding me on and off that it is not going to go away, some updates on the website and not enough time spent in the studio being creative. It was frustrating and did get me down a bit. But it is what it is.

I did have a little play and made a lot of copper hearts. It helped to focus on just one thing. I posted pictures of what I was doing on Instagram and Facebook. Here are some of the pictures for those of you who don’t Facebook or Insta.

Copper Hearts - work in progress
15 January: Sawing embossed copper hearts. I think they will all be pendants.

Copper Hearts - I do like these pendants
19 January: Progress has been slower than I would have liked but 2 hearts and flowers necklaces ready for liver of sulphur patina. Bigger heart has garnet beads and smaller one tiger eye.

The copper wire chain has garnet beads in it.

And within a couple of days it sold! Exciting and just the boost I needed to stop feeling sorry for myself.

This is another heart pendant I added to my online shop. I have already written about this in the latest products section on this blog. I have also written about the pendants added to my Etsy Shop in another post.
